Developments on the technological and health fronts are progressing apace. To meet the professional and personal demands of the workplace it has now imperative to supplement basic training in gastronomy with further and on-going education.
The Danish Diet & Nutrition Association works actively to ensure its members access to competence development programmes at local institutes of education, while simultaneously focusing its efforts on improving basic training within dietetics and nutrition.
Cooperation between union representatives and management is essential to a good working environment, and in highlighting the significance of gastronomy to the community at large.
The Danish Diet & Nutrition Association trains its own union and safety representatives to the highest standards keeping them, similar to their management counterparts, fully acquainted with all technological and other developments within the profession, mainly through the medium of the association’s newsletter.
